Presentation: LA Metro’s efforts to improve policing performance
This session will explore LA Metro’s reasoning for shifting from a single agency law enforcement model, to a multi-agency model designed to deliver faster emergency response times and more effective crime deterrence. Focused on preventing crime, blight and disorder rather than responding to these challenges after the fact, LA Metro aims to improve the ridership and workday experience for all of its passengers and employees.
