Presentation: Managing cyber security in London’s transport network
All businesses are increasingly relying on digital technology. Transport is no exception, having migrated extensively from analogue to digital over the last five years. Today, our industry is increasingly reliant on information technology and automated computer systems for the safe delivery of our services, including train movement control, power delivery and schedule maintenance. Beyond the many operational benefits these changes have delivered, new technologies have also exposed public transport authorities and operators to new risks and threats that are constantly changing and evolving. This presentation will look at how transport experts can tackle the challenges they face by having a single approach for the whole organisation, supported by a clear control framework.
