Sylvain TOUSIGNANT

Biographical note
Sylvain Tousignant is currently the Director of development in charge of Montreal taxis industry projects’ improvement at the Bureau du taxi de Montreal. Throughout his career, he has held several positions within multinationals public companies such as P&G and Maple Leaf, where he played key roles in sales, product development and process improvement.  He always was highly involved in his community being part of several Committees and boards of Directors for non-lucrative organisations.  Having graduated from Joel Barlow High School in Connecticut, Sylvain holds a Bachelor degree in Commerce as well as a second one in Public Administration from the University of Québec à Montréal.  He also is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt which allowed him throughout the years to carry out many change management and improvement projects.

During the presentation, we will explain current taxi situation in Montreal and the role of the Bureau du taxi de Montreal in supporting the industry in defining a new vision.  We will show the projects the industry is working on to modernize and improve its service and the change management needed to be taking in consideration to bring success.
