Biographical note
Hartmut Schick (55) joined the Central Research Department of former Daimler Benz AG in 1986 after graduating in mechanical engineering. 1990 Schick joined the Marketing department of DASA in Munich and was appointed Head of the Corp. Secretary and Head of Office of the Chairman of the Board of Management in 1993. In 1995, Schick took charge of the Chairman’s Planning Staff. 1997, he was given the task to build up the MB plant in Juiz de Fora/Brazil as Head of Production and Logistics for the Passenger Cars Product Line. 1999, Schick was appointed Chief of Staff of the Chairman of the Board of Management of DaimlerChrysler AG. From 2002 onwards, he headed the global communications area of the Daimler Group. Hartmut Schick has been Head of the Division Daimler Buses and CEO of EvoBus GmbH since January 1, 2009. In this position he is responsible for the worldwide bus Business of the Daimler Group.
