Presentation: Embedding health in transport planning
The Healthy Streets Approach is an evidence-based approach for creating fairer, sustainable, attractive urban spaces in which everyone can choose to walk, cycle and use public transport.  London has adopted the Healthy Streets Approach and Transport for London is embedding this into policy and practice with new governance, communications, assurance system and monitoring.  This fresh new approach puts people and their health at the heart of decision  making with the overall objective of making London a healthier city.
