Presentation: How the use of ITS systems for paratransit can enhance rider experience for persons with reduced mobility
Clever Devices GreyHawk7 enables transit agencies to provide a paratransit service that is efficient and reliable allowing persons with reduced mobility to have access to work, appointments and any plans they may have. With our system, the operator has the ability to quickly identify individuals for multiple pick-up and drop-off trips, which reduces error and improves passenger satisfaction. In many agencies, paratransit uses a separate dispatch center remaining autonomous from the fixed-route operations, however, Clever Devices has created a multi-modal CAD system for both fixed-route and paratransit. With clear visibility of both modes of transportation, the agency will be able to easily monitor the status of paratransit making it an even more reliable system for its passengers. In this session, Clever Devices will discuss the importance of Paratransit ITS solutions.
