Neil MCFARLANE

Biographical note
Neil is no stranger to TriMet – he has worked for TriMet for over 26 years and over 6 years as General Manager. During his tenure Neil has headed up the agency’s Capital Projects division where he led the development, design and construction of the five light rail extensions, the WES commuter rail project, and as General Manager, oversaw the region’s sixth MAX extension that just opened on time and under budget. He is also committed to an extensive capital investment programme for the bus system. Neil has over 30 years in the region’s planning and transportation field where he has worked closely with partner agencies and the community. Neil holds a Masters in Urban Planning from UCLA.
