Nadine LEE
Biographical note
Nadine Lee is the Deputy Chief Innovation Officer for LA Metro’s Office of Extraordinary Innovation. In this role, Nadine launches innovative concepts to provide a flexible, demand-responsive mobility system in Los Angeles. Nadine led the delivery of the Flatiron Flyer Bus Rapid Transit for Denver’s Regional Transportation District, which resulted in a 45% growth in daily ridership since opening in January 2016. In 2015, Nadine led a Leadership APTA team to study the role of public transport in today’s mobility ecosystem. Nadine served two terms on the WTS International Board and participated in a TCRP International Transit Studies Program that studied the enhancement of transit service delivery through performance management in four Southeast Asia cities. Nadine is a registered Professional Engineer in Colorado and Kansas, and she received her B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Missouri.

This presentation will discuss Metro’s multi-faceted approach to piloting and implementing innovative concepts in planning, operations, capital construction, and customer service to deliver a world class mobility system in the infamous car capital of the world.
