Biographical note
Ms.Catherine Laplante is currently Director, Strategic Asset Management at SNC-Lavalin. She has become highly knowledgeable in large-scale projects within multidisciplinary teams and has developed the ability to synthesize information and perform financial/cost-benefit analysis, economic impact analyses and risk assessments for numerous major infrastructure feasibility studies. She has carried out multiple travel demand analyses for both freight and passenger transportation involving extensive characterisation of past, present and future travel patterns with regards to changing travel conditions. She has worked in freight and passenger sectors and has undertaken transport forecasts and market share analyses as well as wider project analysis. She has excellent communications skills in English and French.
