Joe KENNY

Biographical note
Joe Kenny, Former Chief Human Resources Officer, Bus Eireann Joe Kenny has worked in the PT sector for over 30 years in a variety of roles within Human Resources and Operations Management. He holds BBS and MBA degrees from University College Dublin. He has worked with Dublin Bus and Bus Éireann and up to his recent retirement was Chief Human Resources Officer with Bus Éireann. Mr Kenny has been directly involved in the design and delivery of many training initiatives and has presented a number of papers in this area. He is the current Chairman of the UITP Business and Human Resource Commission and was also a member of the Editorial Council of PTI. He is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) and a chartered member of the Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT). Mr Kenny is currently working in a consultative capacity and also delivers various training interventions on both operations management and human resource management.
