Dr Jürgen GRESCHNER

Biographical note 
Jürgen Greschner is Managing Director of INIT in Karlsruhe.
INIT is worldwide leading supplier of integrated ITS solutions for public transport. Founded in 1983 as a university spin-off with 3 employees, INIT is today a 700+ employee business group and active in about 40 countries.
After his university diploma in business administration and software engineering, Jürgen worked as project manager in research projects and obtained a doctoral degree in economic and social science. In 1996, he joined INIT as commercial director. In 1999, he moved to Chesapeake, Virginia, and successfully set-up INIT’s North American business. In 2004, he returned to the headquarters in Karlsruhe to become executive board member of the parent company. He was then responsible for the international growth of INIT. Today he holds a number of management positions within the INIT group and is the CSO and the deputy CEO of INIT SE, the group’s parent company. In this function he aims for successful long term customer relations, as they provide the solid basis needed to propel public transport to the next level.
