Victor DARIAS

Biographical note 
Victor Darias is the Vice President of Strategic Sales for Global Traffic Technologies. During his time at GTT, Victor has worked with many agencies across North America providing solutions to fit their needs. Prior to his position at GTT, Victor worked in telecommunication industry with companies such as Cisco Systems in Australia managing Global Network Providers and government agencies. Victor started with GTT in 2010 in the transportation space including transit, and emergency services, and has continued to work with strategic customers since the GTT acquisition.  Victor attended Queensland University and studied business and economics.

Presentation: Reducing travel times through Wall Street Financial District in NYC
This presentation aims to explain to transit agencies how they can create a more efficient transportation system using transit signal priority (TSP). TSP can help reduce travel times of their buses and trains, in turn increasing ridership and reducing congestion by having fewer commuters travel by car. The presentation will highlight the collaboration between multiple agencies to achieve a better system.
