Presentation: Addressing cyber vulnerabilities in the digitalization of transport through vertically integrated security
As digitalization drives consumer expectations of what “best in class” user experiences can be in transactions, transport is challenged to match the kind of seamless sophisticated interactions that are becoming routine in an economy driven by mobile devices.
One cause for the gap in deploying innovative fare experiences is the inability to deploy vertically integrated security open standards that can support not just traditional contactless fare media, but also open payments, multi-application cards, and mobile devices as well.
In this speech, we will explore the benefits of vertically integrated open standards for fare security with a focus on how they can foster innovation and reduce the costs associated with developing new partnerships and new revenue streams.
