Biographical note 
Mike Brown, Commissioner of Transport for London, is responsible for making sure Transport for London (TfL) provides world-class transport services that keep London working, growing and make life in the Capital better. He oversees TfL’s investment programme, which includes some of the largest and most complex engineering projects in Europe. Under Mike’s leadership, TfL is responsible for virtually all of the city’s transport, including London Underground, the bus network, Docklands Light Railway, TfL Rail, London Overground, London Trams and the Emirates Air Line cable car. It is also responsible for the Capital’s busiest main roads, the Congestion Charging scheme, road safety and schemes to boost cycling and walking and improving the city’s air quality.
