Micah BERGDALE

Biographical note
Micah Bergdale is an accomplished entrepreneur with a passion for technology. He currently serves as Bytemark’s Global CEO. He has been instrumental in driving the international mass transportation industry’s shift toward mobile ticketing and payment offerings. Micah has contributed to developing 15 issued or pending patents surrounding Bytemark’s technology.
Micah holds a Bachelor of Science from Northern Arizona University’s College of Business Administration. He graduated at the age of 18, making him the youngest business school graduate in the state of Arizona at the time. Micah went on to attended the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business’ Graduate Program.
Launched in 2011, Bytemark delivers a secure mobile ticketing platform for transit, tourism, and events. The Bytemark team is a talented group of engineers, developers, and business professionals dedicated to building an easy-to-use mobile ticketing system with little to no infrastructure investment. The Bytemark Platform is a suite of smartphone apps, point-of-sale plugins, and open APIs that provide an integrated mobile commerce experience.
For the past few years, Bytemark has been a leader in providing mobile ticketing technologies to the transit industry. Bytemark delivers a comprehensive platform that allows organizations to feel confident as they transition to mobile. Bytemark launched the first mobile ticketing application for a major U.S. transit agency with the release of the New York Waterway app in January 2012.
