Presentation: Service design methodology : RATP case
Service design places the passenger at the heart of the design process. From framework to implementation, the method is that of design: practical and intrinsically attentive to usage.
Yellow Window declined the service design methodology for RATP to enrich the design brief of the new rolling stock generation for Paris’ metro.
The user was involved at all stages:
> Listening and observing the customer-passenger
> Responses are co-constructed with the involvement of all stakeholders
> Demonstrators enable the services to be experienced and the solutions considered to be tested rapidly among passengers.
