Presentation: User journey and user experience: showing and telling!
A large body of literature provides today marketing and design professionals with a shared and (almost) clear understanding about what User Experience stands for and why it makes sense to focus on the User Journey while thinking at creating or developing mobility services.
But when it comes to tell the story in order to build consensus and facilitate decision making, it is a more complex matter.
Giuseppe will present the audience with several renderings of User Experience maps and User Journey models, produced for the needs of different projects by attoma in the last few years. The goal is to show that there is not a single truth, but a large variety of solutions according to the context, the stakeholders’ culture and the process the designer is involved in. That’s why Giuseppe thinks that the production of this kind of models is a specific design domain by itself – a new expertise between information design, visual storytelling and change management.
