Innovation guided tours
The Innovation Guided Tours give Summit participants the opportunity to come face-to-face with the most ground-breaking exhibitors at the 2017 Global Public Transport Summit.
The tours have been hand-picked by UITP experts, covering a wide range of exciting topics in urban mobility. Representatives from each company exhibiting on a tour will welcome participants to their stand, presenting on key areas of innovation. The tours also provide an excellent opportunity to discover our exhibitors’ World Premieres, where the latest in public transport technology will be on display.
Six tours are available:
- Autonomous vehicles: Monday 15 May, 2.00pm
- Mobility as a service: Monday 15 May, 4.00pm
- Digital innovation: Tuesday 16 May, 2.00pm
- Energy: Tuesday 16 May, 4.00pm
- Rail maintenance: Wednesday 17 May, 09.30am
- Electric buses and/or bus builders: Wednesday 17 May, 11.00am
The tours are in English only and suitable for disabled access. Each tour lasts approximately one hour.
REGISTRATION
Where is it possible to register?
Onsite, at the main registration desk.
When?
Up to 15 minutes before the start of a tour.
Who can take part?
Only delegates registered to the UITP Summit can take part in these guided tours. Please note that the number of participants is limited to 24 – registration is on a first come, first served basis.
How much does it cost?
The guided tours are free of charge (included in the conference registration fees).
Registration desk opening hours:
Monday 15 May: 11.00am – 3.45pm
Tuesday 16 May: 8.30am – 3.45pm
Wednesday 17 May: 8.30am – 10.45am

The tours will begin from the information desk opposite the Congress Registration desk (level 2).
