Stephan LEWISCH

Biographical note
Born on 1966 in Austria, Stephan Lewisch took his A-Levels at the Polytechnic Mödling in 1986. In 1988 he began his studies (Engineering) at the Vienna University of Technology. He completed his studies in 1994 as a Graduate Engineer. Since 1994 Stephan Lewisch has been employed by the Wiener Linien, Erdbergstraße 202, 1031 Wien. He started as a Depot Manager of Tram and Bus. From 2001 until 2005 he was the Deputy Manager of the Underground Operation Department. Until 2008 he worked as the Manager of the Training Department. Until December 2008 Stephan Lewisch worked as the Manager of the operational Controlling Department. Since 2011 He has been working as head of the Tramway operation division. He joined in 2004 the LRC of UITP and since 2015 he is the chair of this committee. In 2014 he became also a Lecture for operational management on the University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten.
