Maksim LIKSUTOV

Biographical note
Maksim Liksutov entered public service in 2011 when he took leadership of the Department of Transportation and Road Infrastructure Development. He promotes rational use of private vehicles in the city, expansion of public transportation, and development of pedestrian and cycling zones. During Liksutov’s tenure Moscow created its first paid parking zones and stringent environmental standards for freight and public vehicles. Previously M. Liksutov had served as the Chairman of TransGroup AS Ltd. until December 2011.
