Vivienne KING

Biographical note
With over 25 years’ experience in transport, Vivienne King is the President & General Manager of the British Columbia Rapid Transit Company (BCRTC) which operates and maintains SkyTrain and West Coast Express in Metro Vancouver.
Prior to relocating to Vancouver, Vivienne held various Transport positions with extensive experience in planning, delivery and operations. These executive roles include: Executive Bid Director in North America; inaugural CEO of KDR Gold Coast (the Operator and Maintainer of the Light Rail), head of Strategy & Service Development and Chief Operating Officer at RailCorp. Vivienne has planned, commissioned and operated new fleet, new lines as well as managed the daily delivery of transit services in Australia and North America.Vivienne holds a number of post graduate degrees and in her spare time enjoys training for the odd triathlon and half marathon.
