UITP TO AWARD AMBITIOUS AND INNOVATIVE MOBILITY PROJECTS
Every two years, the UITP Awards acknowledge ambitious and innovative sustainable mobility projects contributing to UITP’s goal to double the global, public transport market share by 2025.
The UITP Awards highlight successful projects implemented around the world that place public transport at the heart of the urban and local mobility system. Successful projects should be ambitious, innovative and transferable to other cities and regions.
For the 2017 UITP Awards, all eligible projects must have been implemented between 2015 and 2017.
Awards will be presented for the following categories:
- Public Transport Strategy
- Customer Experience
- Operational and Technological Excellence
- Smart Financing and Business Models
- Small Cities & Low Density Areas
- Design
- Y4PT Young Leadership. In line with the previous edition UITP and the Y4PT Foundation will also present the Young Leadership Award, recognising new leaders, talented staff and innovators in the sustainable mobility sector. Applicants must be born after 17 May 1987.
Winners for all awards will be decided by an international panel of experts and announced during the UITP Summit.
