Presentation: Asset management for MetrôRio
Metro Rio is a private concessionaire in charge of operation and maintenance of the Rio de Janeiro’s subway system. Our term will finish in 2038 and we are running assets with more than 30 years old. Since the State is the owner of the assets. The concessionaire is not responsible by contract to replace or modernize the systems. Nowadays the State has strong budget constrains so our goal is develop a strategy to update these assets avoiding to decrease the valuation of the Concession.
