With its modern Control centre and operating systems, Société de transport de Montréal (STM) is able to ensure the integrated management of operational data, providing passengers travelling to and from the network’s 68 stations with reliable, safe, and efficient metro service on all four lines.

Its operating systems, a veritable nerve centre, handle train schedules, all radio and video data, public address system for stations, as well as data from monitoring escalators and tunnel ventilators.

During this tour, visitors will:

• Get a first-hand look at the centre’s modern, efficient and upgradeable facilities
• Observe the synergy between the employees who oversee the smooth flow of operations 24 hours a day
• Analyse images captured by 2000 surveillance cameras deployed throughout the system and follow train movements on an impressive optical display unit
